The Maple Festival (The Adventures of Sophie Mouse)

Ali's Thoughts:

Sophie can't wait to help her mom bake her famous maple-filled treats for the annual Maple Festival. Sophie gets distracted playing with friends, and when she comes back to her mother's bake stand, she finds that no one has stopped by. Sophie has to think fast (and get a little creative) to save the day. This was a series my kids couldn't put down in kindergarten and first grade, whether I was reading it to them or they were reading it themselves. Ages 6+
