The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe
Ali's Thoughts:
Four siblings step through an old wardrobe and into Narnia, a once-peaceful land frozen in eternal winter by the cruel White Witch. Only the return of the great lion Aslan can break her hold, but restoring peace comes at a cost. Classic for a reason, and even better as a family read-aloud before movie night. (We also read this one to our kids before they were tweens.)
