March looked a little different for us this year… in the best way. I’m usually in full travel mode this time of year, but after moving at Thanksgiving and still unpacking through Christmas, I knew we needed something else. Slower mornings. Fewer plans. A little more calm. So that’s exactly what we did.
We stayed close to home, sprinkled in a few easy day trips, slept in (when we could 🤣), and filled our days with simple things like arts and crafts and just being together. And honestly? It was exactly what we all needed.
That downtime gave us a chance to reset and recharge before the final stretch of the school year—which somehow is only about eight weeks long. And I truly cannot believe that in less than two months, the girls will be home for summer.
And as much as I loved the slower pace, real life is still real life 🤣 Which means I’m always looking for those little things that make our days run smoother, keep the kids entertained, or just make life feel a tiny bit easier.
